A Private Support Pathway for Mothers & Families of Military and Veteran Suicide
Quiet Connections is a gentle, opt-in program offered by Mothers Of Veteran Suicide Corp. for mothers and families who have lost a military service member or veteran to suicide.
Many families grieve quietly and are not ready for public groups, events, or formal programs.
Quiet Connections exists to meet families where they are—offering connection, dignity, and choice.
Quiet Connections is a private, consent-based way for mothers and families affected by military and veteran suicide to be gently connected with others in their local community.
There are:
Families choose if, when, and how they would like to connect.
Families may request support through a simple, private intake process or be referred by a trusted community partner.
When a request is received:
Quiet Connections does not operate as a group or forum and does not require ongoing participation.
Quiet Connections supports:
The program is especially helpful for families in rural or smaller communities where postvention support may be limited.
In addition to peer connection, families may request referrals to grief counseling, crisis support, or trusted community resources.
Quiet Connections is not a crisis intervention program. If someone is in immediate distress, professional resources—including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline—are provided.
Protecting the dignity and privacy of families is central to Quiet Connections.
After military and veteran suicide, many families feel isolated, unseen, and unsure where to turn. Quiet Connections creates a compassionate pathway for families to know they are not alone—without pressure, visibility, or obligation.
If you or someone you know has been affected by military or veteran suicide and would like to learn more about Quiet Connections, you are welcome to reach out privately or submit a request for support.
